Many people have strong desire which they want to make
a better world especially for people with high ambition like ruler of every
country. From the past until now there are a lot of leader like king,
president, and emperor want to make a better world by way of war. In the
history we know a lot of leader like Alexander the Great of Macedonia, Darius I
of Persia, Julius Caesar of Roman Empire, Genghis Khan of Mongol Empire,
Napoleon of France and the other started a great war. In early 20th
century arise WW1 which that conflict between two great powers but then
stopped. The victims of that war are more than one million and cause suffers.
Interval of several decades, Great War rise again and that was known as WW2
that conspired by Adolf Hitler. Like the war before, it is involve two great
powers at that time and again the result is still like war at the first one. Well,
to make that thing can be realized they started war with mobilize a lot of natural
resources and human resources that they had. Great War in the past like WW1 and
WW2 just make human suffer. But, why they want to do that? Because there are
three main ambition of human consists of power, glory, and wealth. That thing
is strength reinforced by human’s desire is unlimited. If something like that
still happen then world war 3 definitely will happen in the future no matter when
it will happen maybe tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. Generally
war means as conflict, everything that we do will definitely get result, including
WW3 in this case will get result no matter its good or bad. Word ‘war’ for
every people in this world is really scary and terrible thing, even for every nation
and countries try to avoid about what is called with war it. War is a climax of
conflict between parties to the conflict. War decision is taken if diplomacy
phase and negotiations failed. If we agreed that diplomacy as a conflict
resolution then we agreed that war is the method of conflict resolution. Most
of war just makes suffering between countries that in conflict or destruction
that will never cure. There are a lot of kinds of war like economic war,
religion war, nuclear war, world war, and politic war. In the modern way, war
is just direct on superiority industry and technology. Back to the WW3, if the
WW3 really happen then the winner want to build a better world because they
want to control and manage every parts of world by themselves. From that rises
something that will know as one world government. But, most people make predict
that WW3 if that really happen then it means the end of world or doomsday.
After The WW3 is over and then raise one world
government where the government of world will ruled by one person or some
people who won the WW3. Unite government under one world is just ambition of
some greed people. No matter what is the form of one world government whether
it unification or conquest or confederation form. They make police, rule, and
law to control people life. Control one person to be a good person for the sake
of better world. It means that there is one person must control one person and
watch their development from time to time. Rom that it just make conflict
between them because they feel they do not have the right for freedom to do
something by himself without being watched. The world handle by one person or
people then over time it will make an absolute power or dictator or the worst
is tyranny. The government just makes decision by his own and makes policies
that harm people. Then, it will arise rebellion and rioting in each territory
or state because dissatisfaction from ruler of every region. From that, they
want to separate from main country and build new country by themselves. If one
world government fall and then world can be return to normal or it will make
chaos between them because due to the annexation. So that one world government
it seems likes the end of the world.
Because way to make a better world through world war
3 and one world government is really not good. Maybe it sounds impossible to
realize that if using those two things. Then the ways to make a better world
are education, literature, and music. Those three things can we do in our daily
life and also have relations between them. Those three ways also maybe become
good options among of us because that ways will easily to apply and without
using ways with less of ethical. But generally, we already have ever done it
considering those things that are our daily activity. Here is the explanation
about those three ways.
For education, based on my article that I read, education could be the
basic foundation to create a better world and education possibly has purpose to
make a better world from before. Education was known from long time ago in
prehistory time where the education mostly applied in play form by children.
But before they knew play, they had something that make them want to know
something and do something, that is known as curiosity. So, the basics of
education are curiosity and play. Education is a form of learning that is
received from teaching and going to each generation. To make education is
better and then it must be supported by school as a place where the education
takes place. In the school they learn a lot of knowledge started from basic
stage then medium and so on. As we know the function of school is to make
learners from do not know until they know. In the world education, the learners
portrayed as a piece of steel and then honed to be a sharp knife. When the
people get education it means that they want to change their live and make it
better than before. If the education that they receive a lot then possibility
their standard of living would be good. As we know one of function of education
is to prepare the workforce. How education could influence the advancement of a
country or world? the indicator that is used to compare the progress of a
country like education index, life expectancy index, income index and so on. It
means that more higher the index of a country then can be said more advanced
that country. For now, countries with the top highest education index are
Finland, South Korea, New Zealand, Hongkong, Japan, and so on. Those countries
are developed country. Meanwhile, countries with lowest education index are
Niger, Chad, Burkina Faso, and Mali. Those countries are included in developing
country. So that, education index is very influences to measure the state of a
country. But, if all of us want to make a better world then that country with
lowest education must raise their education index. Maybe the reasons why those
countries have lowest education index because in that country the number of
school is really low and level awareness about the importance of education is
low too. Education needs support from literature which literature provides the
material and knowledge.
Make a better world need thing about literature. Based
on my article that I read, why literature one of important thing to make a
better world? The reasons are from literature we could get knowledge and make
our horizon wider without limit, beside that literature could help us learning
and indirectly it can train our reading ability. Literature can be one of
teaching instruction media which literature as media to teach students. It
looks like literature has close relationship with education. That relationship
known as literature based education. It means that students introduced with
literature since the beginning and with that the students know the variety of
literature. Besides that, their ability in reading increase rapidly. It is
considering for the globalization era like nowadays the students tend really do
not care about literature and especially for developing country where the
illiterate is very high. So that literature can impact for the future of that
country. To know why literature is really important then I will start to
explain the literature from history, in the past people wanted to share what is
in their mind or they known as writer or philosopher and because the media that
exist in the past is printed media or now it is known as offline literature and
they used it as writing media of their thoughts. Then their literature can we
know until now thanks to literature. Their literature is very useful for human
life for every generation. But, because that offline literature is maybe too
expensive or difficult to find it then it can be helped by the new media that
known as internet or it known as online literature. Beside of that reasons, the
online literature is very fast to spread for the people. Then it is impact on the
advance of people’s knowledge to build a better world. But, in order to make a
better world using both of two sources of literature like online and offline
then both of that sources must still exist. Back to the literature, the ideas
of philosopher is very useful for human life. It can be basic for human before
take decision. All about those litterateur and philosopher can prove in every
book where their creations become famous. Nowadays the literature become
guidance and helps us to make a better life. After literature is very useful
for our live and it will need help from music to increase our spirit when we
learn literature.
Music is very important for our life especially to
make a better world in this case. It is based on my article that I read. But, who
is among of us do not like music? The answer is no one. Music can make us calm
whenever there are a lot of problems. The music expert said music could help
brain nerves and make connection which it could help us understand about
language. Sometime we think how a very small and simple idea could influences
life and makes it as a better place. We must not just listen music but we must
try to learn how to play music. That is why, since born most of people born
with music instincts and even while we in the womb we are already familiar with
music. Music as one of important thing for our live and without music it is
just like eat sandwich without a loaf of bread. From myth that I ever heard
about music, learning music in self taught way it is same with learn music
without music teacher, music book, and the other. It means that only learn
music with guidance of music teacher directly. From that, it can impact in our
learning way if we learn by ourselves and indirectly it will train our
independent. Music can be our first knowledge that we know before we go to
school. For many people when meet difficulties, music can be powerful way to
omit it. Have you ever turn on a special music for you? When we listen that
special music for us sometime it will remember us something that we always did
when this music is turned on. It means that music has some kind like bound
between music and us and it seems that we have a ‘connection’. Besides that,
music can share our criticism and blasphemy for the bad government who move
does not fit with rule. How it is possible music can criticism government here
is the example. Most of us know especially for an Indonesian maybe knows the
one of best singer namely Iwan Fals. He released a lot of albums and songs
which most of them contains criticism and blasphemy. Besides that it is also
contains spirit for the people in order to make them move on and change
themselves become better. The other singer like one of my favorite band Green
Day who ever released album knows as American Idiot. In that album there are
several songs like American Idiot and Letterbomb which that contains criticism
about the government of George Walker Bush, The president of United State of
America in 2004. Besides that, it also contains criticism that smells like
social criticism which most of American controlled by mass media. So that,
music can influences human life from bad one into good one and also music can
influences human life and direct them to create a better world.
Conclusion about make a better world using like
world war 3 and one world government is really not good and possibility of
success is very low. Expect for crazy and mad people who want to see and throw
our beloved world in chaos. Actually the best way is using the good way in our daily
life like education, literature, music, and so on. Those three things
complement and have relations each other to make a better world. That is need
role from every part of life and then it combines into one and tries to make it
better than before and the better world will not far away from us. We could do
that with simple way in our daily life like. It can be started from our life
like when we put rubbish into the garbage, plant a tree, positive thinking, keep
smile, and express love. But, we do not know how it is looks like a better
world because everything that improve and develop from before and we use that
now it considered less for many people. Maybe the situation for now it can be
said as a better world but as I said before we are human will never feel enough
for something and want to try it again and again until it is looking good. But
the important thing is how to keep world peace between all of us and for a
better future.
