The
8th Classroom in EED
The
8th classroom is one of classrooms in EED. But, the condition of
this classroom is not like the other classrooms in EED. Many facilities in this
room are broken or not work properly, so some facilities that supposed to
support the learning process had turned to be a problem instead. Broken chairs
pilled in the back of the class and make the class untidy. Many windows are
broken. Some cannot we open and some other cannot be closed. The curtains are
dirty and out of order. The walls are dirty with meaningless drawing, writings
and stains. The plugs on the floor are not working, so we cannot use it like
how it supposed to, such as for charging our laptop or other things that need
plugs. The ACs in the class are not working, one of them even become a place
for bird to make nest. There are some leaks from the roof so when it rains, it
will make some water stagnant on the floor. Also, the door is jammed and we
cannot open it sometimes if the door closed. Beside those conditions of broken
facilities, the class can be so noisy. On the other side of the building where
the class is located there is a busy road, so we usually can hear the sound of
vehicles moving very clearly and it disturbs our study process especially when
we need to listen to an important lecture. Then, there are many benches outside
the 8th class where some students usually wait for their classes and the sound of their chatting sometimes are very
loud. Another problem outside of the class is that it is so crowded and it also
disturbs our focus when studying. The reason why it is very crowded no other
because the 8th class is near a space, a place where students
usually wait for their classes; so many students usually flock around there. It
is also near the toilets and HMJ room. In short, broken
facilities, noises around the class and the crowded outside the class
are the causes that make us feel very disturbed during our lessons. If
there is no action to improve the class condition, we afraid it will affects
our study performance. The students’ spirit will decrease and it will impact to
the quality of every students.
